Mist-On Tan Patent Infringement Suit Filed

Grapevine, TX - Laughlin Products, Inc, (LPI) parent company of Mist-On Systems, Inc., announced that it has filed a patent infringement suit against a mid-western tanning salon chain. The suit is based on one or more of the several patents assigned to LPI on its proprietary misting technology.

According to an LPI spokesperson, the management and technical staff at LPI welcome the opportunity to validate their patents in court. The spokesperson stated that LPI has already stopped three infringers without having to file suit. However, a court ruling carries more weight with respect to the enforceability of a patent.
